Ok. This one didn't stand the test of time too well. Story-wise, we have seen tons of underdogs done well. In fact, it could have very well been an Adam Sandler's movie. The fight scenes are poor by today's standard. But it was made in 1976, so I understand and respect it for what it was.

Besides Rambo (THE FIRST ONE), I must say Slyvester did pretty well as the protagonist. One of the rare moments where you put 'good acting' and Stallone in the same sentence. Another point to note, I think he's much beefier now than back then. In fact, I don't think he's all that muscular in the movie. Every Tom, Dick and Harry in Hollywood probably has that body nowadays. Ok, Maybe except for that fat dude in Hangover.

Did I enjoy the movie? Well, yes and no. Memory does play tricks on you sometimes. I remember the whole training scene to be much more inspiring. The part where he runs up the stairs and yelled - It was much better played in my head. It does however, gives you a gist of what life was back then.

Overall, to me, this is Saturday Night Fever with more testosterone. If you want to watch a good boxing movie, I'll recommend The Fighter. It's a l

I am trying to watch the whole list in chronological order. I must say, this was a great movie to start with. Well firstly, it was released on the year of my birth and coincidentally the protagonist in the movie, McMurphy is 38 years old.

This isn't the first time I'm watching this, but it holds up to repeated viewing. I'm not going to do any reviews on it as I believe there are tons of it out there. Definitely Oscar-worthy and it was a joy for me to revisit this little gem.

Just got to know that the Gunpla Builders World Cup is just around the corner. Sooner than I expected. Looks like I gotta get to work fast!

Take a look at last year's entries here.

I may have bitten off more than I could chew this time. Winning the contest is gonna be an uphill battle. Better put my thinking cap on real soon and work on some interesting concept.

Striking off the first on the list was relatively easy. There are a few blog sites out there but I decided to go with weebly because it has some really great tools to assist in designing the site,

Weebly has numerous templates to choose from. In fact, so many that it becomes quite difficult to choose. I decided to go with a simple and clean layout.

The process was quite simple - just point, click and drag around - befitting their tagline, "Website creation made easy". There's just so much you can do here, from adding music, slideshows, polls and even E-commerce! No fancy coding involved.
There's even a stat page where you can track your visitors. If I upgrade to the pro version, I'll get even more stats (where my visitors are coming from and stuff like that) - but that's not really important for me right now.
There's even an iphone app for weebly - I can blog from anywhere!
BUTTT... I am not exactly the type who blogs. I never really had anything to talk/bitch/comment/rate/review about. However, the list actually has given me something to 'blog' about. Having said that, I am treating it more as a diary to chart my progress.

Oh, well. Let's see how thing goes and do hope I get to strike them all off.

1 down. 39 to go.
